Informal meeting place and advice service
This used to be a gay friendship group in the GDR that met regularly on Sundays. Only the location in Prenzlauer Berg still remains the same. Nowadays, the Sonntagsclub is a meeting place, café, and cultural centre for lesbians, gays, transgender people, and their friends. Here, people can party and talk in an informal atmosphere.
The Sonntagsclub also offers a comprehensive range of advice services. It focuses on youth groups, groups for older lesbians and gays, advice for transsexual and transgender people, as well as legal advice and psychosocial counselling.
