Tinned-food in a restaurant? As the name already implies, everything in the Sardinen.Bar in Schöneberg really does revolve around the small fish from the Atlantic waters. They are very healthy and also not an endangered species. You shouldn´t judge a book by its cover when it comes to sardines from a tin. Hand-crafted art and a respectful approach to production are the influences behind the product, which is where the idea originated for the first gourmet bistro in Germany specialising in canned fish. All cans come from small family-run businesses. Why not come and sample the vintage sardines, tuna and other delicacies from the sea. There are also cheese and sausage specialities as well as selected wines and spirits.
