Pirate Ship Playground

Set sail at the Pirate Ship Playground

A visit to this public playground fits in wonderfully with a trip to the Charlottenburg Palace, which is on the opposite bank of the Spree. The large pirate ship is the main attraction in the playground and in the summer it entices many small landlubbers to try and capture the wooden ship. The children climb nets to get on board, and keep a lookout for the next treasure island from the crow's nest. Anyone wanting to plot a mutiny can do so below deck or they might just play a game of table tennis on the sun deck.

Ship Ahoy!

The playground is located on the banks of the Spree, so you can watch the ships go by and wave at them. Parents can relax on one of the benches. And if all the fresh air has given everyone an appetite, the whole family can stop off at a nearby restaurant.
