Open house with winter festival at Silent Green

Christmas market in Berlin on 6 and 7 December 2025

Experience the start of the Advent season in the unique ambience of the silent green Kulturquartier. The Open House with Winter Festival offers a diverse mix of concerts, art and culinary highlights and transforms the historic site into a place of encounters and enjoyment.

A feast for all the senses

The winter festival in the silent green Kulturquartier presents a varied programme: visitors can stroll through a market with handmade and upcycled products from the region, enjoy concerts and take part in historical guided tours.

Culinary & artistic diversity

The Mars kitchen spoils you with winter delicacies, and for the little ones there are craft activities and a homemade gingerbread and stick bread stall on the meadow. The Christmas market is spread across the concrete hall and the studios. Here you will find beautiful and unusual artefacts as well as craft workshops. berlin shops and designers will also be presenting their gift ideas, silk design, ceramics & porcelain, candles, graphics, photos and books, jewellery, hand-woven and handmade items, haoris and kimonos from Japan, vase plants and, of course, records and music to go with the many concerts.

Cultural highlights and concerts

The Open House with Winter Festival is more than just a Christmas market - it is a cultural experience with concerts, readings, DJ sets, films and a family programme.
