Open-air cinema in the rose garden
The jewel in the Weinbergspark
The Heart of the 1950s rose garden in Weinsbergpark is the cultural pavilion.
The space in front of the pavilion is a great place to relax and enjoy yourself with picnic benches, tables and chaises, while the surrounding rose garden is a gem of urban garden design. In addition to the geometrically arranged rose beds and a shady pergola, the porphyry wall with especially designed relief images by Waldemar Grzimek also draws attention to itself. In summer evenings, indirect lighting gives this space a special ambience. When the weather holds, the open-air cinema takes place every Tuesday night. The events are free, but the sponsors of the rose garden, Rosengarten e.V., always appreciate donations both large and small.
A request on our own behalf
The area around the park is home to many residents who live and work here. For these people, the park is an important recreation and relaxation area.
We kindly ask you to take this into account during your visit. Many thanks!
