Following her lynching, the former slave Marie Scott becomes an immortal vampire and sets off from the USA for Germany, where she has been living in a Berlin cemetery since the First World War.
In her feature film debut, Sky Deep – who also plays the lead role – weaves lesbian kink with mythology and ballroom elements in a manner that is as playful as it is sensual.
Amidst flirtations and the quest for orgasmic blood, the traumas of the past are transformed into a sex-positive and immortal tale of liberation.
