The documentary 'Kein Land für Niemand' (‘No Land for Nobody – The Isolation of an Immigration Nation’) highlights the paradigm shift in European and German asylum and migration policy. Drawing on sea rescue operations and interviews with activists, academics and journalists, the documentary challenges common narratives of isolation and deterrence. The film calls for alternatives to address the inevitable reality of migration in a world in crisis and an immigration nation in a state of upheaval.
