Contemporary dance
Two venues. Two programmes. Two encounters. Following its premiere in May 2026, the Berlin-based dance collective Ma. returns with its second instalment, Ma. II.

On 20 November, Ma. will present an evening of contemporary dance at Theatre Pool Berlin, featuring works by Aya Misaki, Ron Estrea Kaslasi and Tristan Quérou.
The intimate theatre space offers the audience the opportunity to experience different choreographic approaches and artistic perspectives in a single evening.
The name Ma. is derived from the Japanese concept of Ma (間), which describes the space or interval between things. Through its performances, the collective creates a space in which different forms of artistic expression can coexist, inviting the audience to discover the relationships and possibilities that arise between them.
Ma. II takes place at two contrasting venues:
Whilst the first performance takes place in the intimate atmosphere of the Theatre Pool, the second programme will be presented on 22 November in the bright, open Evangelical Moravian Church – featuring a different selection of works and guest artists.
