Show lessThe four-day week and the eight-hour day weren’t simply wished into existence, but were successfully fought for. For Kindler, therefore, the division in society is not a negative reflection of our times, but an opportunity: everyone needs to dare to be more irreverent! The Frenchman, of course, knows what he’s talking about and so brings a touch of French protest culture to the comedy stage. And everyone knows: that’s exactly what Germany desperately needs. So check in at ‘Hotel Atze’!
Jean-Philippe Kindler is a political stand-up comedian who has always managed to portray political issues in a way that’s funny yet moving. His previous stage shows have won him awards including the German Cabaret Prize and the Prix Pantheon. His shows aren’t particularly cabaret-style, though – instead, they really pack a punch: wherever Kindler performs, it gets loud, energetic and silly.
