To mark National Reading Aloud Day, author Tina Gerstung is hosting two readings from her fantasy series ‘Wellvern Saga’ on Friday, 20 November 2026. The stories centring on the young Peter Turner are aimed at children and young people aged ten and over.

At 11 am, the programme features the first volume, “Eden Hall: The Entrance Exam”. In it, Peter Turner is unexpectedly chosen by the Destinator and admitted to the entrance exam for the legendary elite school, Eden Hall. Even the journey there holds numerous adventures in store. At 4 pm, there will be a reading from the second volume, “Eden Hall: The Secret”. Peter has passed the entrance exam, but for him, this is just the start of an exciting quest to uncover the truth.
Both readings will last around 15 to 20 minutes each. Admission is free, and no registration is required. As places are limited, booking via wellvern.shop is recommended.
Young creative minds will also find plenty to enjoy: on Saturday 28 November 2026, Sebastián García Muñoz, illustrator of the Wellvern saga, will offer insights into his work during a character design workshop. Children will discover how an initial idea develops into their own character on paper and learn the basics of character design. Participation is free of charge, but places are limited.
