Storytelling workshop for children and families

A matter close to the heart: In ‘Krone auf, du bist wunderbar!’, children and their families discover what makes them unique through stories, books and creativity.

This Saturday, MOKKA*MILCH invites you to an interactive picture book reading and storytelling workshop with ZULA.

The stories explore themes such as self-confidence, courage, belonging and diversity. Afterwards, everyone will browse through the selection of books together and design their own crown – with personal words that offer encouragement and show: I’m good just the way I am.

ZULA is a platform for inclusive children’s media that creates stories in which every child can see themselves reflected. Founded out of a personal desire by its founders, Janine Vanessa Heinrich and Alain Missala, to bring more diversity and representation to children’s books, it brings together children, families and creative minds.

The programme is aimed at children aged approximately 4–10, accompanied by an adult, and takes place in German and English.

Participation in the workshop is free of charge. Advance registration is requested. Please select a separate ticket for each participant – one ticket for each child and one for each adult.

The team is looking forward to bringing together young and old and different perspectives during this special afternoon, and to growing together.
