The exhibition tells the story of Yugoslavian women who came to West Berlin as migrant workers from the 1960s onwards.

It sheds light on their journey from their homeland, through work and family life, to the challenges of navigating two cultures. Historical photographs and the women’s own accounts bring to life an important chapter in Berlin’s history of migration.
