Particularly against the backdrop of increasing digital sensory overload, this programme offers a low-threshold yet effective complement to existing programmes.
The central principle of the project is a consistent focus on the participants’ own ideas, themes and need for self-expression. Their own ideas are actively taken on board and integrated into the artistic work. This leads to a lasting strengthening of self-efficacy, aesthetic judgement and cultural participation. (Age group: 8–16)
1. Settling in
Breathing and awareness exercises promote presence, concentration and body awareness, and create a calm working atmosphere.
2. Warm-up
Free doodling and movement exercises relieve pressure to perform and enable a playful, open approach to drawing.
3. Deepening drawing skills
The focus is on concentrated work with lines, patterns and shapes. Repetitive movements create rhythm and encourage a meditative state of deep focus. Drawing is experienced as a process in the here and now.
4. Reflection
A guided reflection brings individual experiences to the fore and heightens awareness of changes in attention, mood and bodily sensations.
