Death and grief are among the great taboos of our society. Dying? Not me – the others, the elderly, the sick. And yet we all face our own mortality at some point. Sometimes slowly and with warning, sometimes suddenly, like a punch in the gut. What happens when we talk about it honestly and without sugar-coating it?
This evening, an intimate space will be created for sharing stories and listening together. Berliners will share personal experiences and stories about death, dying, loss and grief.
Different lives, different stories, different ways of dealing with the inevitable.
In cooperation with the Berlin Outpatient Hospice and Family Support Service and the children’s project ‘Pfützen springen’ run by Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e. V.
