Mirador Tour
The Canadian pianist and composer Jean-Michel Blais combines classical piano with improvisation, electronic music and contemporary minimal music. Since his acclaimed debut, *Il* (2016), he has made a name for himself internationally with his intimate, emotional musical language.
Blais’ compositions range from piano and strings to choirs and electronic soundscapes. On his fourth album, *mirador* (2026), he opens up a vast, personal soundscape – inspired by his travels, memories and his childhood in Québec.
Blending contemporary classical music with a generous musical richness, he creates a poetic, multi-layered concert experience.
His music has been nominated several times for the Polaris Music Prize, has been nominated for a Juno Award, and has been streamed millions of times worldwide.
