Club Culture Day
On 2 October, SO36 will be celebrating two anniversaries at once: the ¡MASH-UP! collective is turning 15, whilst the party series of the same name is celebrating its 10th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the Mercenárias from São Paulo are travelling to Berlin for their German debut and will be performing their debut album ‘Cadê as Armas?’ live to mark its 40th anniversary. From 7.30 pm, the panel discussion “¡MASH-IT-UP! WE WERE ALWAYS THERE!” will focus on BIPoC and FLINTA perspectives on 50 years of punk. From 9 pm, there’ll be concerts, DJs, flash mobs and beats until sunrise.

SO36
Since 2011, the queer-feminist Berlin collective ¡MASH-UP! has been creating spaces for empowerment, joy and diversity. It all began with a DIY truck at the Transgenial CSD. Today, the collective combines music and DIY culture with queer, BIPoC and gender-diverse artists from the Global South. In doing so, ¡MASH-UP! brings together different sounds, scenes and communities through celebration, exchange and collective euphoria.
Ticket: €27–35 (concession €15)
