Guided tour led by conservator María Solís del Toro, SPSG
The two paintings, formerly owned by Prince Heinrich, were acquired on the Paris art market in November 2025. Following extensive scientific and restoration analyses, they are now on display in Rheinsberg in their restored state.

The painting restorer María Solís del Toro offers insights into the characteristic painting style of the court painter Amédeé Van Loo, who created numerous works on commission for Frederick the Great. In doing so, she discusses in detail the painting materials and tools he used and talks about the recently completed restoration of the paintings.
