Breath & Resonance focuses on the dialogue between two instruments whose sonic identities could scarcely be more contrasting: the breathing, physical sound of the saxophone and the mechanical, resonant structure of the piano. Within this tension, works emerge that oscillate between precision and openness, energy and stillness.
