Guided tour led by Dr. Ulrike Schmiegelt-Rietig, provenance researcher at SPSG, and Corinna Kuhr-Korolev, historian at ZZF Potsdam

At the end of April 1945, the Soviet Army captured Potsdam and occupied the palaces in Sanssouci Park. Their graffiti is still visible in the New Palace today. Corinna

Kuhr-Korolev and Ulrike Schmiegelt-Rietig shed light on the traces left by the occupying forces, the looting and destruction of works of art during the Second World War, and their consequences to this day.
