The Frenchest German Berlin
What does a woman from Berlin do when she has lost her heart in France? She sings – in French, with total devotion. Laura Dee used to release music in German and English too, but it was only in French that she found her musical home. Her album “Courageuses” was released in 2025 – and ever since, she has been delighting audiences across Germany with chansons that are both humorous and subtle.

Her songs are little stories brimming with big emotions: a culinary journey, a dance on the Pont d’Avignon, the struggle of a Paralympic athlete, the game of hide-and-seek played by a Berlin terrorist. She mourns unrequited lovers, pokes fun at the pitfalls of the digital world – and yet, in the end, she always offers hope. At her concerts, the audience laughs, cries, savours the moment – and often sings along.
Through her platform ‘French & Female Vibes’, Laura Dee champions female voices and the visibility of the French language. Her mission: to entice the audience into a love of the language. Anyone who’s been to one of her shows understands why she succeeds.
