In collaboration with Ella Radio, the multi-award-winning club will be presenting around two dozen concerts featuring international guests from 9 October to 2 December 2026.
Highlights include the US band Chicago, inductees into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, six-time Grammy winner Samara Joy and the Japanese pianist Hiromi.
Jason Moran kicks things off on 9 October with ‘Plays Duke Ellington’. Kurt Elling and the Yellowjackets bring a special collaboration to the stage: together, they pay tribute to the music of Weather Report. The autumn programme ranges from vocal jazz and modern piano trios to soul, funk, Latin and fusion. It brings together
defining voices of jazz with projects that transcend musical boundaries.
The ZigZag Hall creates space for international tours and productions that go beyond the scope of the previous venue. At the same time, the close connection between the audience and the artists – for which the club is renowned – is to be maintained.
The Zig Zag Jazz Club in Friedenau will continue its programme in parallel and remain the ‘living room of jazz’. The new hall complements this offering with concert evenings on a larger scale.
Following the jointly organised Zig Zag Jazz Festival in the summer, Ella Radio and the Zig Zag Jazz Club are continuing their collaboration on the EUREF Campus. With the autumn programme, jazz will have a stage there even beyond the festival season. The venue, situated around the historic gasometer, is in the heart of Berlin-Schöneberg and is just a few minutes’ walk from the Schöneberg and Südkreuz S-Bahn stations.
