International Short Film Festival Berlin – EVENTS
The popcorn is already crackling, the curtain is rising: it’s that time of year again! They’re raring to go, because the 42nd edition of INTERFILM is about to begin! As they do every year, they’ll be kicking off the festival with a bang at the Volksbühne.

The evening will be hosted in English by documentary filmmaker, acrobat and circus educator Brenda Akele Jorde.
With a selection of the festival’s films, musical highlights and a glimpse behind the scenes of the months of preparation, they’ll be celebrating the start of a week dedicated to short films with you.
Afterwards, in keeping with tradition, they’ll invite you to the Sternfoyer to dance to Pogodina on the decks.
All films will be screened in their original language with English subtitles.
