Reality Bites places the decision in the hands of the audience. Reality that seems so abstruse that people can scarcely believe it, and fiction that comes across as so credible that they hardly dare to question it, take turns in the spotlight here. And in the end, the realisation may well be that what they personally feel is more important than what empirical evidence dictates as the truth.
