International Short Film Festival – SPECIALS

Rewire Your Mind does not point the finger at anyone – rather, it examines how people have learnt to see. It is based on the premise that their perception is never entirely their own: people often adopt notions of home, happiness, truth and belonging before they begin to question them.

Rejecting this legacy means allowing for uncertainty. Through intimacy, vulnerability and moments of reflection, seven films uncover the invisible stories that people carry within them. They ask not only who they are, but how they have learnt to see themselves in this way. Rewiring one’s own perspective means regaining agency: switching off autopilot, unlearning familiar patterns and remembering that imagination can be a form of resistance.
