The two artists, Georg Kostron and Erwin R., offer a profound, sensual and at times unsettling insight into the Austrian soul.
If such a thing even exists.
Georg Kostron is a singer, bassist, guitarist and poetry-punk artist.
The Viennese artist, who lives in Berlin, will present highlights from his programme ‘A schwoazzes Gebiss’ – a journey ranging from the romantic to the frenetic through musical interpretations of poems by:
- H.C. Artmann,
- Ernst Jandl,
- Christine Nöstlinger,
- Trude Marzik,
- Georg Kreisler
- as well as Kostron’s originals.
The Carinthian-Styrian producer, musician and singer-songwriter Erwin R. is on tour with his new album “HättiTätiWari”, released on Konstantin Wecker’s label Sturm&Klang.
He has gathered the stories for the album during his time as a globetrotter, aid worker, professional musician, environmental activist and author, and has turned them into catchy songs.
