The two artists, Georg Kostron and Erwin R., offer a profound, sensual and at times unsettling glimpse into the Austrian soul – if such a thing even exists. Georg Kostron is a singer, bassist, guitarist and poetry-punk artist. The Viennese artist, who lives in Berlin, presents highlights from his programme “A schwoazzes Gebiss” – a journey ranging from the romantic to the frenetic through musical adaptations of poems by H.C. Artmann, Ernst Jandl, Christine Nöstlinger, Trude Marzik and Georg Kreisler, as well as Kostron’s own original works.

The all-round musician and singer-songwriter Erwin R. is on tour with his new album “HättiTätiWari”, released on Konstantin Wecker’s label Sturm&Klang. As a globetrotter, development aid worker, professional musician, environmental activist and author, he has gathered the stories for the album and woven them into catchy songs.
