“Unknown 11780” is a documentary-theatrical work exploring five decades of silence, repression and silenced voices in Iran. The play draws on memories, personal experiences and stories from people whose voices have scarcely been heard over the years.

It draws particular reference to the events in Iran in Dey 1404. The play was written and directed by Hila Sedighi.
The play is performed in Persian. For non-Persian-speaking audience members, a simultaneous English audio translation is available via headphones.
