UNION FOR EVERYONE

1. FC Union Berlin is leaving the Alte Försterei for eight days and moving to the Gesundbrunnen Centre. From 17 to 24 September 2026, under the banner ‘UNION FOR EVERYONE’, the club will be running several interactive activity areas in the shopping street in collaboration with the centre.

The focus is on getting involved: visitors can test their sporting skills at the goal-scoring wall, subsoccer and table football; in the gaming lounge, they can play FIFA in the Union set-up; and life-size cut-outs of selected players from the current professional squad invite visitors to take a souvenir photo.

In the fan shop, merchandise can be personalised, and tickets are also available for the Union Women’s Bundesliga home matches. For the youngest fans, there is a station where children can colour in and design their own football shirt.

There’s also a look back at the club’s history: a mini-museum displays original exhibits from the club’s history, information panels detail the milestones of both professional teams, the stadium and the club, and film clips are shown in the ‘Union Cinema’. On the upper floor stands the word ‘EISERN’, 4.50 metres wide and 1.60 metres high, made up of individual three-dimensional letters.

The highlight is the launch on Thursday 17 September: players are expected to be there ‘up close and personal’ for an autograph session.

Throughout the entire event, there will also be a raffle in aid of the 1. FC Union Berlin Foundation. Tickets cost 2 euros, with the top prize being a shirt signed by the entire team. All proceeds will go to the foundation.

“We are delighted that 1. FC Union Berlin is coming to the Gesundbrunnen Centre for eight days. The club has many supporters here in Gesundbrunnen and Wedding, and across Berlin as a whole, and we are therefore offering our visitors something you don’t experience every day: hands-on activities for the whole family, the club’s history brought to life, and an autograph session right here in our centre,” says Bianka Schäfer, Centre Manager of the Gesundbrunnen Centre.
