HOLGER BIEGE – “A Poet Once Said – A Biography” Musical reading

In the GDR, the pianist, singer, composer and arranger HOLGER BIEGE, born in Greifswald in 1952, was regarded as a ‘brilliant, exceptional artist’; he was a talent of the highest order.

His friend and patron, radio producer and music journalist WOLFGANG MARTIN, has written a biography of Holger Biege under the title of his best-known song, “Sagte mal ein Dichter”. The author’s reading will be accompanied musically by GERD CHRISTIAN, the popular pop singer and older brother of Holger Biege, who, amongst other things, wrote his biggest hit, ‘Sag mir doch’, for him.
