Make paper glow! You’ll tear and layer thin, translucent sheets of paper around a balloon. As you do so, you can incorporate colourful shapes, patterns and small paper motifs directly into the covering. Bit by bit, you’ll create your very own paper sphere, which will then be left to dry on site.
At the second session, the balloon will be removed and a hanger will be attached to the paper sphere. Please bring a small battery-powered LED light with you for this. Your lantern will then be ready to brighten up the dark autumn days.
The workshop consists of a two-hour design session and a short session to finish off the lantern and collect it.
