Babette Pribbenow is a German studies scholar and holds a PhD in biology. She serves as a volunteer judge for ‘Jugend forscht’ and is one of the founders of ‘Lise Labs’ and the Berlin Pupils’ Research Centre. Here, pupils can carry out experiments in well-equipped laboratories and discover the joy of STEM subjects.

Actually, the holidays at Aunt Frieda’s and Uncle Theo’s are exciting enough as it is! Who – apart from the girl Pepper Mint – gets to spend a few weeks in a real treehouse in the middle of the Amazon rainforest? That’s where her aunt and uncle live and carry out their research – and Pepper enthusiastically helps look after the animals, which are being nursed back to health here on a small farm.
