Mirabilia

During the Baroque period, people loved to set up cabinets of curiosities: rooms where they kept marvellous objects, curious exhibits and treasures – ‘mirabilia’.

VRUM Performing Arts Collective creates a cabinet full of wonders, secrets and surprises, and invites everyone aged two and over to discover this mysterious universe.

Accompanied by music from that era, visitors are immersed in a world of rich colours, intoxicating details and sublime emotions, where they can playfully explore the fascinating works of artists such as Corelli, Strozzi and Pergolesi.

VRUM Performing Arts Collective uses contemporary dance, its energetic language of movement, and figures full of folds and spirals to forge a fascinating link between the past and the present. Tailored to the youngest audience members, this creates a space for wonder, learning and inspiring encounters that brings an era to life.
