“No Signal” is an experimental performance by the Butoh performer Valentin Tszin and the performance artist Qiyun Zheng.

Inspired by the classic TV icon ‘No Signal’, the performance depicts flickering bodies, reflecting on the fragility of technology.
They seek new ways of connecting in the unconscious when cultural codes, languages, disciplines and social rules fail.
In the run-up to the performance, Valentin Tszin and Qiyun Zheng are offering a series of workshops at the Theater Pool.
These workshops provide an in-depth insight into their artistic practice and the creative process behind the performance.
