Apocadisco is a dance solo about the coexistence of grief and celebration within a single body. Beginning with the end of a party, the piece gradually unfolds from a lively dance floor into a choreography of trembling, in which exhaustion, collapse and joy constantly transform one another.

As familiar structures dissolve, the audience is invited into a shared space of witnessing, in which grief is experienced not as a conclusion but as an ongoing process of transformation. Rather than viewing grief as something to be overcome, Apocadisco asks how people can live with loss.

The work does not view grief and celebration as opposites, but as practices for remaining connected to life amidst constant change.
