Pasos de Patio (AT) is a duet that explores the fictional nature of nostalgia in our memories as a form of ‘guilty pleasure’ and as a choreographic device.

Inspired by the image of the ‘patio’, a semi-public space, different dance languages intermingle and flow seamlessly into one another.
A weary after-party emerges alongside a landscape of emotions and images, raising questions of authorship and purity. The dance is stretched in form and time, thus becoming a fable embodied through the distillation of the Andean folk dances known as Caporales, the sound of neo-cumbia, fixed choreographies and other forms of readymades.
*Pasos de Patio* becomes a vessel for multitemporality, for (un)intended intertwining, for being emotional and for being present.
