In this experimental workshop, we’ll be printing using linocut, unusual materials and everyday objects.
Paper clips, buttons, bamboo rolls, string and much more are transformed into tools for creating unique, colourful marks on paper.
Participants will experiment with surfaces, textures, pressure and movement, discovering how different materials can be transferred onto paper. This consistently produces surprising marks and unexpected compositions – a special interplay with chance. Through layering, repetition and random impressions, unique works on paper emerge, combining graphics, texture and colour.
