This performance explores ritual as a political and embodied practice. Starting from a subversion of authority and the symbolic codes of ritual, it gradually evolves into an experiential dance rooted in the spine, relational awareness and transformation.
Through improvisation, objects and sound, the work weaves together themes such as death, rebirth, upheaval, femininity, queerness and community.
It explores how ritual can be reclaimed as a shared practice and how, for a moment, a different way of being together might emerge.
