Hannah Höch and Lotte Laserstein: two female artists whose bodies of work are internationally acclaimed. Their paths to artistic recognition, however, were very different.
How did their careers begin, what characterises their respective art, what obstacles did they have to overcome, and what circumstances led to their works now holding a permanent place in museums? To answer these questions, the guided tour follows the biographical paths of the artists.
- With Ralf Burmeister, curator of the exhibition and head of the Artists’ Archives
