With the interdisciplinary project *Breath & Hammer*, which was staged at the Pierre Boulez Saal in 2019 and 2022, composer and pianist Kathleen Tagg and clarinettist David Krakauer created one of the most spectacular productions in the hall’s ten-year history.

To mark the West-Eastern Divan Festival, the two artists are now returning for a repeat performance that shows them from a completely different angle: together with renowned colleagues and a group of young musicians trained at the Fundación Barenboim-Said in Seville, they are putting together a special programme created especially for this occasion.
