n.b.k. Billboard

Dora Budor & Noah Barker’s new work, *Monte Carlo Method* (2026), which will premiere at n.b.k. in November 2026, is based on the mathematical model of the same name, which is used to estimate possible outcomes of uncertain events. The Monte Carlo method, which originated in the so-called Manhattan Project and is central to financial forecasting, structures the film, which explores a city and a century built on chance.

In addition, the artists will be featuring their work on the n.b.k. billboard at the high-traffic intersection of Friedrichstraße and Torstraße, in the immediate vicinity of the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.).

Dora Budor (born in Croatia) and Noah Barker (born in California) live in New York. Their collaborative video works have been exhibited at venues including: WIELS – Center for Contemporary Art, Brussels (2026); mumok, Vienna (2025); Kunstverein Braunschweig, Braunschweig (2025); MoMA PS1, New York (2024); Simian, Copenhagen (2023); Kunsthaus Bregenz (2022).
