Great DEPECHE MODE "40 Years of BLACK CELEBRATION"

At the “Great DEPECHE MODE – 40 Years of Black Celebration” party, starting at 9 p.m., guests can expect a night of electropop, synthpop, and dark sounds—ranging from major hits to B-sides and live tracks, as well as non-album tracks, rarities, and related sounds from 1980 to 2026.

On the second floor, the Dark Club Night provides the perfect musical complement. The lineup here features wave, dark sounds, electro/EBM, post-punk, ’80s, alternative/rock, future pop, minimal, and the latest new releases. The music will be curated by scene DJs Mr. Devotee Berlin—active since 1994—DJ Benni from Schwerin/Rostock, and DJ Tom/Dark Cube from Erfurt.

The special guest of the evening is the well-known actor and voice actor Gedeon Burkhard. He will exclusively perform his Depeche Mode cover song “Black Day,” based on the track of the same name from the legendary 1986 album “Black Celebration.” The accompanying music video will also premiere during the party.

Video projections and fan goodies will add to the atmosphere. In addition, the limited-edition double CD “Higher Love”—a Depeche Mode tribute production featuring a lineup of top-tier artists—will be available that evening at a special price.

All guests can look forward to a welcome shot upon arrival. Exclusive lounge areas will also be available: Only ten spots with a complimentary long drink are available at the advance ticket sales locations.
