a tour through six centuries

An exhibition on the history of urban life and housing in Spandau on the upper floor of the Gothic House. This exhibition, suitable for the whole family, is part of the Spandau Museum of Local History, which is housed in the Armory at the Citadel.

The historical exhibition in the Gothic House begins by shedding light on the history of this unique building. Archaeological finds such as glazed stove tiles and coins, as well as the building’s original structure, hold many secrets.

The subsequent tour tells the story of everyday life in the city and, above all, invites visitors to participate: in singing, guessing games, and theatrical performances.
