Short stories have a magic all their own. They’re a quick peek through the keyhole into fantastical worlds that vanish as quickly as they appear—yet always leave a lasting impression on us.

Are you perhaps working on a short story yourself right now? Or do you enjoy listening to them? Then come check out a few “quick reads” at Short Stories Night! Here, amateur and up-and-coming authors share their own short stories and look forward to your feedback. Everyone is welcome!

Don’t let your scribbles gather dust in a drawer! Nothing is more exciting than diving into other people’s imaginary worlds. Those who’ve “surfaced” can then tell you what your stories did for them. If that isn’t motivation to pick up a pen and start writing, I don’t know what is!

Tonight’s theme: NEW MASCULINITY

If you’re feeling inspired, feel free to write a short story on this topic. However, you’re also welcome to read short stories that aren’t related to this theme.

If you’d like to read aloud, please register in advance via this link.

  • Reading time: max. 12 min
