Children and teens are choreographing dance pieces for the JTB Company for everyone ages 6 and up
“My Dance 2” is a choreographic project in which children and teenagers take the lead: Young people choreograph short pieces for professional dancers from a wide variety of styles—including contemporary dance, breaking, hip-hop, and waving.

Together, they develop solos, duets, and trios centered on the questions: Why do we dance for others? Why does watching movement move us?
In this project, the young participants experience dance not only as their own movement but also as a form of artistic expression and communication. Together, they explore what choreography means to each and every one of them.
The Junge Tanzhaus Berlin opened in November 2025 with a highly acclaimed premiere of this format.
