It acts as an accomplice to the narratives, weaving and transforming the stories, which at times take the form of song. Through the journeys of Lucie and Léonora—two young women struggling against the narratives that constrain them—the play explores the necessity of reclaiming one’s own story. Léonora tries to escape the oppressive patterns of love and the abuse that have shaped her, while Lucie, a woman with autism living in the shadows, is confronted with the norms of a world that refuses to see her. These characters eventually meet, strengthen one another, and break the silences that have silenced them. Between emancipation and reinvention, they deconstruct their legacies and together sketch the outlines of a new mythology.

Based in Seine-Saint-Denis, the collective “particules fines” explores contemporary narrative forms at the intersection of theater, performance, and sound art. Its work places the relationship with the audience at the center of a reflection on the narratives that shape us.
