NIRANIUM Festival

Under the motto “Berlin Bands for Berlin – support your local scene!”, the festival showcases outstanding independent musicians from the capital and demonstrates that a festival doesn’t have to be huge to make a big impact.

With diversity, accessibility, fair representation, and a passionate Berlin rock community, NIRANIUM sets an example for what live culture can look like today—perhaps even serving as inspiration for many a major festival.

Lineup:

• Glooom is an underground band that blends grunge, riot grrrl, and punk with fast-paced, heavy guitar riffs and dark, emotional themes.
• Eddie is a trio that blends punk and metal and packs a punch like “table fireworks at the National Library.”
• Riot Spears is a grunge-punk trio that blends raw ’90s energy with socially critical themes. They often describe their loud, nonconformist sound as “Angry Pop.”
• Bonsai Kitten is a well-known Berlin rock band founded by the charismatic frontwoman Tiger Lilly Marleen.

The band has its roots in psychobilly and punk rock and has evolved over the past few years into a powerful crossover group with metal and blues influences.

Nungara plays powerful dark groove metal and doom, featuring a spectacular Brazilian singer and guitarist.
