With A-Side Berlin—the house music dance party for BIPoC, queer people, and their allies—a new party series is coming to the THF TOWER that puts both the community and the music front and center.

A-Side Berlin
Born out of a love for house culture and its emancipatory roots, A-Side creates an open, diverse space driven by the idea of bringing people from different backgrounds together on the dance floor. A-Side was founded by Jana Falcon, Darwin Stapel, and Tommes K. Brandt.
Born out of a shared love for house music and its emancipatory roots, the party series sees itself as a platform for community, culture, and musical quality. The focus is on connection, visibility, and respectful coexistence.
The Hosts of A-Side Berlin
Jana Falcon
Jana Falcon is known for her versatile take on electronic club music, spanning UK garage, 2-step, house, and disco. As a DJ, producer, and former vinyl cutting engineer, she combines technical expertise with a keen sense of atmosphere and musical dramaturgy. Her sound is characterized by careful selection, stylistic openness, and an unmistakable signature that blends diverse influences into a cohesive whole.
Darwin Stapel
Darwin Stapel combines his passion for house music and dance as a shared culture. As a professional dancer, he develops his DJ sets through movement: intuitively, physically grounded, and with a keen sense of tension and collective energy on the dance floor. At this second A-Side Berlin Edition, he will also showcase another facet of his artistic practice; more on that coming soon.
Tommes K. Brandt
Tommes K. Brandt moves between house, tech house, and disco. As a co-founder of A-Side, he sees club culture as a space for connection, community, and expression. His sets thrive on percussive sounds, distinctive vocals, and a knack for those moments when individual movement transforms into collective energy. His background as a singer shapes his approach to music: for him, voices become narrative elements that convey connection, emotion, and energy.
With A-Side Berlin, the co-founders and hosts are creating a place where people can come together without having to explain themselves—a space for expression, community, and the freedom to live out one’s own identity openly: “Come as you are or as you want to be.”
As long as the shared values of respect, consideration, and togetherness are upheld, everyone is welcome. After all, club culture is at its strongest when it doesn’t force anyone to be someone else.

Ticket Prices for Summer at the THF
Regular: 5 euros
Reduced*: 3 euros
*Children (ages 6–14), K–12 students, college students, apprentices, volunteers, recipients of basic income support, job seekers (ALG-I), and people with severe disabilities (GdB of at least 50%)
Persons accompanying individuals with severe disabilities (marked with a “B” on the disability ID card) are admitted free of charge. No advance registration is required.
Note regarding the box office: Card payments only; cash is not accepted!

There are two parking spaces on site for people with disabilities (a valid parking permit is required).
The THF TOWER is fully accessible.
