Jan Böhmermann and the Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld are breaking free from “ZDF Magazin Royale” and heading out on a tour of Germany starting January 19, 2027, with their new live show “Auf! Auf! Ehrenfeld!”

Jan Böhmermann and the Ehrenfeld Radio Dance Orchestra blend it all together in their new, radically forward-looking show, which doesn’t shy away from the bleak present but instead confronts it with laughter and full force.

Jan Böhmermann has been the weekly host of the award-winning political satire show “ZDF Magazin Royale” since 2013 and, together with Olli Schulz, has been co-hosting the Spotify podcast “fest & flauschig” since 2016—one of the most-listened-to podcasts in the world.

Jan Böhmermann is a seven-time Grimme Prize winner, has been honored six times with the German Television Award, and has received the Rose d’Or as “Entertainer of the Year,” the Romy, the Bavarian Television Award, the 2022 Venus Sex Award, and many more accolades.

The 15-member Ehrenfeld Radio Dance Orchestra (RTO), conducted by Lorenz Rhode, is considered the best radio orchestra in continental Europe.

It was founded in 2016, has been performing live every week on “ZDF Magazin Royale” since 2017, and will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2026.
