We invite you to join us for a discussion.

Berlin-based authors have written.

They met and experimented with:

How do you write in a way that’s easy to understand?

And still tell a good story?

One that moves people?

People with learning disabilities reviewed the texts:

Are the texts easy to understand?

In September, the authors will read from their work.

In plain language.

For the first time.

For everyone.

When?

September 1 at 5 p.m.:

Writing Workshop Discussion

There will be a second workshop discussion:

Workshop Discussion: Literary Translation.

On September 22 at 5 p.m.

Click here for the announcement of the second workshop discussion.

How can the discussions be made accessible?

Alexandra Lüthen will moderate the event.

The texts and discussions are in plain language.

Inga Schiffler will be there as a comprehension assistant.

She helps everyone understand.

Jona Neugebauer draws simple pictures.

That also helps with understanding.

Do you need to register?

Everyone is welcome to attend the workshop discussions.

Participation is free.

Registration is not required.

Where do the discussions take place?

The discussions are held at Lettrétage.

It’s a literary venue in Berlin-Mitte.

The address is:
