After the countdown, you’ll take off and watch from space as Earth orbits the Sun. First, you’ll explore the sunlit day side of Earth before continuing on to the dark night side, illuminated by the many lights of major cities.
What is there to discover on our home planet when viewed from an altitude of 10,000 km? The journey continues to our nearest neighbor: the Moon. Following in the footsteps of astronauts, you’ll explore its deep craters and the dark spots that you can also see from Earth.
You’ll also learn about the different phases of the Moon. From the Moon, you’ll fly deeper into the solar system and discover the planets’ orbits together.
At the final stop of the space mission, things really heat up: you’ll visit the Sun, a real star, and marvel at its glowing surface up close. Afterward, the spaceship heads back to Earth and lands safely at the Zeiss Grand Planetarium.
Look forward to a fascinating journey of discovery through the solar system!
